The STAR Market, as is implied by the name, is heavily geared toward smaller innovative tech companies, in particular those engaged in strategically important fields, such as biopharmaceuticals, 5G technology, semiconductors, and new energy. The STAR Market is seen as important for Chinaβs high-tech and emerging industries, providing a space for smaller companies to raise capital in China. With the help of the Search Filters option, users can now filter search results by type. They can do that by using the new tabs: Media, Links, Files and others. Searches can be done based on the particular time period like by typing in the date or even βYesterdayβ. If users type in the name of a person, group, channel or bot, an extra filter will be applied to the searches.
